Terms of service
LynxPoker — Tournament Management Platform
Last Updated: October 13, 2026 · Provider: LynxPoker, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company
1. Introduction and acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer," "you," or "your") and LynxPoker, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of the LynxPoker web application, mobile applications, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you represent that you have the legal authority to bind the organization on whose behalf you are acting and that you accept these Terms in full. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Service.
2. Description of service
2.1 Purpose
LynxPoker is a business-to-business (B2B) software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform designed to assist professional tournament staff — including Floor Managers, Tournament Directors, and Dealers — in managing live, in-person poker tournaments. The Service functions as a digital scoreboard, tournament clock, blind structure manager, player registration tracker, dealer assignment tool, and reporting utility.
2.2 What LynxPoker is not
LynxPoker does not constitute a gambling platform, online poker room, or financial services provider. Specifically, the Service:
- Does not facilitate, process, hold, or transmit any buy-ins, entry fees, payouts, wagers, or real-money transactions of any kind;
- Does not operate, host, or enable any form of online or remote gambling;
- Does not act as a payment processor, escrow agent, or financial intermediary;
- Does not determine or influence the outcome of any poker game or tournament;
- Does not provide poker gameplay functionality — no cards are dealt, no hands are played, and no wagering occurs through the Service.
The Service is analogous to a digital whiteboard or scorekeeping system. All financial transactions, prize distributions, and game operations occur independently of and outside the Service, under the sole control and responsibility of the Customer.
2.3 Flow of funds
The Company's only financial relationship with the Customer consists of the plan fees and extra-credit purchases described in Section 7. Specifically:
- (a) The only funds the Company collects, processes, or receives in connection with the Service are the Customer's own plan fees and extra-credit purchases.
- (b) All buy-ins, entry fees, re-entries, add-ons, bounties, table fees, rake, and prize payments connected with any tournament are collected, held, and paid out by the Customer, at the Customer's own premises, using the Customer's own arrangements. They never pass through the Company or the Service.
- (c) The Company holds no player balances or accounts, operates no wallet, and issues no chips, tokens, or points redeemable for money or anything of value. Player credits are a prepaid allowance to use the Service: one is used up when the Customer adds a player to a tournament. Credits cannot be transferred and are never redeemable for money or anything of value.
- (d) Amounts recorded in the Service are records entered by the Customer's staff. Recording an amount in the Service does not move it, and the Company has no obligation or ability to settle it.
3. Account registration and eligibility
3.1 Eligibility
You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts in your jurisdiction. The Service is intended for business use by organizations operating lawful poker events.
3.2 Account responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted under your account. You must notify us immediately at the contact address below of any unauthorized use.
3.3 Organizational accounts
If you register on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms. The organization shall be the Customer for all purposes hereunder.
4. Customer obligations and compliance
4.1 Lawful use
You shall use the Service solely for lawful purposes. You represent and warrant that:
(a) Your use of the Service and the live poker events you manage comply with all applicable laws, regulations, permits, and licenses in every jurisdiction in which you operate;
(b) You have obtained all necessary governmental approvals, permits, or licenses required to operate poker tournaments in your jurisdiction;
(c) You will not use the Service in connection with any activity that is illegal under the laws of any applicable jurisdiction.
4.2 Jurisdictional responsibility
The Customer bears sole and exclusive responsibility for determining the legality of live poker events in their specific jurisdiction. Laws regarding poker tournaments, gambling, and gaming vary significantly by country, state, province, and municipality. The Company makes no representation that the use of the Service is appropriate or lawful in any particular jurisdiction.
4.3 Prohibited uses
You shall not:
- Use the Service to facilitate illegal gambling or any unlawful activity;
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service;
- Circumvent any security measures, access controls, or usage limits;
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without prior written consent;
- Upload or transmit malicious code, or interfere with the Service's infrastructure;
- Use the Service in a manner that violates the rights of any third party.
5. Data processing roles
5.1 Controller and processor
For the purposes of applicable data protection laws (including the Israeli Privacy Protection Law 5741-1981 and the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation):
- The Customer is the Data Controller with respect to all personal data of tournament players and event participants entered into the Service by the Customer or its authorized staff;
- LynxPoker, LLC is the Data Processor, processing such personal data solely on behalf of and pursuant to the documented instructions of the Customer.
5.2 Data processing agreement
These Terms incorporate a data processing framework. Where required by applicable law (e.g., GDPR Article 28), the Company will enter into a supplementary Data Processing Agreement ("DPA") upon the Customer's written request.
5.3 Customer obligations as controller
As Data Controller, the Customer is responsible for:
- Ensuring a lawful basis for the collection and processing of player personal data;
- Providing any required privacy notices to players and event participants;
- Responding to data subject access requests, deletion requests, and other rights requests relating to player data;
- Ensuring that data entered into the Service is accurate, necessary, and collected in accordance with applicable law.
6. Intellectual property
6.1 Company IP
The Service, including all software, design, trademarks, logos, documentation, and underlying technology, is and remains the exclusive property of LynxPoker, LLC and its licensors. These Terms grant no ownership rights to the Customer.
6.2 License grant
Subject to these Terms, the Company grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for its intended purpose during the term of your plan or free trial.
6.3 Customer data
You retain all rights in the data you submit to the Service. You grant us a limited license to process such data solely to provide and improve the Service.
7. Subscription, fees, and payment
7.1 Plans and player credits
The Service is sold as a monthly or yearly plan that includes player credits. Every plan includes every feature of the Service. The plans are:
Reg plan ($200 per month or $1,600 per year)
- 400 credits a month included
- Every feature included
Pro plan ($700 per month or $5,600 per year)
- 1,625 credits a month included
- Every feature included
Elite plan ($1,500 per month or $12,000 per year)
- 4,500 credits a month included
- Every feature included
Legend plan, or another plan agreed with you in writing (price and credits as agreed)
- Every feature included
- One credit is one person entering one tournament. Re-entries, rebuys and add-ons do not use a credit.
- Free trial: 3 tournaments within 14 days, up to 150 players each, no card needed. A tournament counts once it reaches 10 players or 2 hours of play. One free trial per account owner. Clubs that already had an account when credit pricing started get 30 days instead of 14.
- Extra credits: 100 for $50, 500 for $235, 1,500 for $675. They are used after your plan credits and are kept for 12 months from purchase.
- A yearly plan is paid once, at 8 months' price. Its credits are added every month.
- If your credits run out, a tournament already running continues; players added to it after that are owed and are taken from your next credits. A new tournament cannot start until the owed credits are covered.
Prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes; any tax that applies is added at checkout. In some countries prices are lower, based on the country of the card; checkout shows the price that applies.
Fees are billed in advance (monthly or annually, as selected). Plans renew automatically at the end of each month or year until cancelled. If you turn on automatic top-up, we charge your card for 100 extra credits each time your credits run out, up to the monthly limit you set. If a renewal payment fails, the account is paused while we retry the card for a short grace period; if the payment still fails, the plan is cancelled. The Company reserves the right to modify plan features and pricing with thirty (30) days' prior written notice. Current pricing is published on our website at https://lynx.poker.
7.2 Refunds and cancellation
Plan charges are refundable in full for thirty (30) days from the first payment, unconditionally and without any requirement to give a reason. Extra credits are not refundable. Email [email protected] and the refund is issued to the original payment method. Beyond the thirty (30) day window, fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.
You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops all future billing immediately; there is no contract, no minimum term, and no cancellation fee. Cancellation does not, by itself, refund past charges. Access continues until the end of the period already paid for.
7.3 Changing plans
You can upgrade at any time and pay only the difference for the rest of the period; the new plan's added credits are available straight away. A downgrade starts at your next renewal. Extra credits you have bought stay yours when you change plan.
8. Service availability and support
8.1 Availability
The Company will use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain Service availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service is provided on an "as available" basis.
8.2 Maintenance
Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance where practicable. Emergency maintenance may occur without notice.
9. Disclaimers
9.1 As-is basis

9.2 No legal or regulatory advice
The Company does not provide legal, regulatory, tax, or compliance advice. The availability of the Service in a given jurisdiction does not constitute an opinion that your use is lawful.
10. Limitation of liability
10.1 Cap
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE COMPANY'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE TOTAL FEES PAID BY THE CUSTOMER TO THE COMPANY IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY; OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).
10.2 Exclusions
IN NO EVENT SHALL THE COMPANY BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, BUSINESS, OR GOODWILL, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY AND EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
11. Indemnification
11.1 By customer
You shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LynxPoker, LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:

(d) Any dispute between you and your players, staff, or event participants;

12.5 Data export
Upon written request made within thirty (30) days of termination, the Company will make your data available for export in a commonly used, machine-readable format.
13. Governing law and dispute resolution
13.1 Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
13.2 Jurisdiction
Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state or federal courts located in the State of Delaware, and each party consents to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Prior to initiating any legal proceedings, the parties shall attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute through direct negotiation for a period of not less than thirty (30) days.
14. Modifications
The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to the address associated with your account or through an in-app notification at least thirty (30) days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Miscellaneous
15.1 Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any applicable DPA or Order Form, constitute the entire agreement between the parties.
